my story begins with breaking all the rules!

As a kid, I was always in trouble for drawing in class. Of course, my report cards always reflected my drive for creative pursuits rather than following the status quo, and my fourth-grade teacher even told me I’d never make anything of my life because if it.

That being said, all the doubters and haters ignited a fiery passion inside of me to prove them wrong. This would lead me to a life of breaking all the rules!

the unplanned beginning of something great.

I started customizing Levi’s 501s and Chuck Taylor All-Stars in high school with an airbrush and Sharpie pens. My artwork was rebellious, psychedelic, and scandalous, but kids freaked out about it. So they started offering me cash to hand-paint their clothing with all the crazy shit in my head.

I never expected in a million years that my artistic talents would lead me down a path of making money while doing what I loved. That’s when Dogman Designs was born.

a lifetime of kicking ass and taking names.

Thirty-four years later, I’ve created designs and artwork for hundreds of clients all over the world, including best-selling authors, professional sports teams, and some of the biggest brands on the planet. My apparel has even been sold in stores across the nation.

More than that, I’ve managed to achieve almost all of my personal and professional goals. Not bad for a kid who wasn’t supposed to make anything of his life.
